ABA Solutions is actively recruiting for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Howard, and Montgomery Counties. Experience is preferred, but not necessarily required.
In addition, we are currently offering an RBT practicum internship as a path for you to receive your RBT certification. This is an unpaid internship and will develop your skills to become an RBT. We provide you access to the 40 hour, online, self-paced, coursework in order to develop the prerequisite skills. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of completion, and you’ll be provided an opportunity to practice those skills under the direct supervision of a BCBA in order to meet the requirements of the RBT competency assessment, prior to sitting for the RBT exam. Upon completion of the RBT practicum internship and receiving your RBT certification, you may quickly transition to full or part time employment within ABA Solutions.
A qualified applicant for the RBT positions must have an existing RBT certification. If it is expired, we would require you to go through the RBT practicum internship. If it is inactive due to lack of current supervision, we would be listed as the supervisor once you have been hired. Applicants will start as a trainee, and will participate in 3 to 5, two hour training sessions at a training rate, prior to moving to an RBT position. This is an opportunity to demonstrate your skills in working with children with autism.
We support clients in the home during the afternoons, evenings, and weekends, in schools during the days, and in our clinic days, evenings, and weekends.
